Sonia is the first smile I see when I enter the building, and she immediately makes the YMCA feel welcoming. She is friendly, professional, and helpful, and she sets a very positive tone from the moment someone walks through the door. Mr. Brown, the Executive Director, is clearly engaged, present, and approachable. His leadership is visible throughout the facility, and it seems to have a positive influence on the entire staff. That kind of leadership is infectious and helps create a culture where people feel welcomed, respected, and included.
